Men are physically orientated. It seems the way God designed them to be. With physical attraction men can quickly get excited which will show through both their actions and words. For instance, they can call their girl friends a few times a day. They would like to meet their girl friend as much as possible, possibly even every day. They try as much as they can to understand their girl friends' thinking and needs. They would certainly try to be romantic by organizing nice dinners and delivering beautiful flowers, etc. However if the physical attraction does not exist, they have no interest to know the person, let alone try to develop a relationship. Their golden rule is: if the cover were not interesting, why would you want to read the book.
The worst thing is men usually make quick judgments when they meet women. If the chemistry is not there, no matter how long they know this person, or how wonderful the person is, they will not change their mind.
A woman can be vulnerable when the man decides that there is no chemistry. This is because he may still have sex with her till he has found the right woman, but he will not be interested in a long-term relationship. A quick test to tell whether this man is merely interested in sex is to see how soon he wants to have sex with the girl friend. Genuine interests will slow a man down from having sex with the girl friend. He won't want to frighten her away. When a man stops chasing a woman who has rejected his sexual approach at early dates, it is the sign to show that he has no interest in developing a long-term relationship.
Many women know that men are more physical. That is why they don't have enough confidence in their own looks. Even super models sometimes feel that their looks are not attractive enough, or not sexy enough. In order to be more attractive to men, some women even go to extremes about their looks, by starving themselves, going through plastic surgery, buying expensive clothes and cosmetics, etc. These efforts will impress some men. But it is costly, sometimes unnecessary.
How does a man think a woman attractive? This is, of course, very personal. Every man fancies different style of women. However, just as tall men are regarded as popular for women, there are a few common attractions when a man looks at a woman:
a. Slim body. There are a small percentage of men who particularly like cuddly women. Many men would feel attracted to slim women. However the slimness can be shapely slim, or skinny.
b. Long hair. Many men like long -haired women. It is a traditional way to judge women's femininity, which arouses men's masculinity
c. Good taste of dress and color co-ordination. Many men like stylish women. They admire women who have a good choice of dress, modern, appropriate to the personality, color coordination, etc. Some women who may have good looking faces, but have poor taste in dressing usually have trouble attracting men, especially modern men. Some of them are even called 'grandma'.
d. Neat and Tidy, well groomed. Neatness and tidiness are regarded as femininity. When a woman always keeps her dress well groomed, her hair tidy, she becomes attractive to men.
e. The way of moving her body. Body movement by a woman is one of the important ways to show her femininity, or sex appeal to men. That include the way she walks, the waving of her arms and hands, the movement of her head and hair, the posture when she sits, or stands, etc. It is different from flirting. It is a natural gesture.
Some women are gentle and graceful, while some are energetic, vibrant and lively. These can all be sexy and attractive to men.
f. Their way of talking. Traditionally men would like women who are gentle and softly spoken. In modern society, people are changing. There are few women who still talk like those in 18th century with a voice, which people can hardly hear. However, in the meantime, many men would still not accept women who talk loudly, or roughly. It is regarded as lack of femininity, or not civilized.
